Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Driver to join our growing team in a school food service setting. You will receive and stock deliveries, transport food to coolers and stock shelves, and load outgoing materials for deliveries.

The role includes serving lunch in a school cafeteria and returning supplies to the central location. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs, work independently, communicate effectively, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs consistently.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Successfully pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock materials from incoming deliveries.
• Transport food into coolers, freezers, warming boxes, and stock on shelves.
• Load all outgoing materials for outgoing deliveries.
• Ensure timely delivery of products by transporting items in a cargo truck.
• Serve lunch in a school cafeteria setting.
• Return serving supplies and paperwork to central location.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by leadership.
