Job summary

PMM Companies seeks a Hybrid Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and general repairs for a client facility. Under supervision, you will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC filter changes, painting, and routine maintenance to keep the building in good condition for occupant safety.

The role includes event setup, on-call maintenance, restocking supplies, and enforcing clean-up procedures per OSHA standards. Weekly schedule runs Monday through Friday, with an hourly rate of $19.80.

Responsibilities

• Routine plumbing repairs in restrooms, water fountains, and prep kitchen
• Routine electrical repairs, including lamp replacements, resetting circuit breakers
• HVAC Filter Replacements
• Drywall repairs/painting
• Operate Building Fire Alarm System
• Inspection of fire extinguishers on a monthly basis
• Snow removal from sidewalks, curbs, and loading dock areas using powered and manual equipment
• Lawn maintenance, mowing, weeding, trimming
• Police grounds and entrances to buildings for debris, clutter, trash and dispose of such items in the appropriate refuse area
• Police and clean restrooms and re-stock if necessary (schedule to be determined between Client and Contractor)
• Mop spills when needed
• Perform cleaning and disinfecting rotation of HTSs
• Follow clean-up procedures per OSHA STD 29 CFR 1910.1030
• Clean Eating Areas/Break Rooms/Vending Areas
• Set-up/breakdowns for events and light maintenance tasks
• Receive and store deliveries
• Report safety and security problems to Management
• Lift/move materials up to 55 lbs
• On call and respond to security monitoring/PMM communications
• Maintain lists of tools and supplies
• Fulfill any reasonable building operation tasks as directed by Client/Management
