Job summary

Saber Building Services Inc. in New Boston, MI is seeking a dependable Day Porter to support a busy automotive manufacturing facility near the Bell Road corridor. The role is high-visibility, helping keep the facility clean, safe, and ready for employees and visitors.

You will work Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with emphasis on consistency, professional conduct, and quick response to cleaning needs. Comfortable environment and safety shoes required.

Qualifications

• Must provide & wear safety or steel-toed shoes
• Comfortable working in an active factory environment
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach around employees and visitors
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform routine custodial tasks

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Sweep, mop, and respond promptly to spills or immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic areas and address cleaning needs throughout the shift
• Communicate facility, supply, or safety concerns to management
