Newk's Eatery is looking for a motivated Dish Washer Staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, glassware, and utensils in a fast-paced back-of-house environment. This role supports a strong commitment to customer service through efficient operation.

This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently across all shifts. Candidates must stand for long periods, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and adapt to a busy kitchen.

Job description

Dish Washer Staff is a Back of House positions. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for plate ware, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using a machine and manual cleaning methods. This position ensures the dishwashing area is clean, safe, and sanitary. This position needs a motivated individual that prefers to work individually. Must be focused and pay attention to details.

Physical Requirements

• Extensive standing without breaks.
• Exposure to heat, smoke and cold.
• Reaching heights of approximately six feet and depths of approximately three ft.
• Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided for periods of up to eight hours or longer as needed.
• Effective communication with peers, managers and guests.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred Experience but not limited to.
