Helping Hearts is seeking a compassionate daytime Dementia Caregiver to support clients living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. We emphasize safe, respectful, and personalized care with a focus on comfort and dignity.

Ideal candidates have prior dementia care experience (HHA/PCA/CNA or equivalent) and are available for daytime shifts. A background check and drug screening are required, with a patient, reliable approach valued.

Qualificações

• Previous dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience required.
• HHA, PCA, CNA, or equivalent caregiving experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Daytime availability required; flexible availability is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and medication reminders.
• Support daily routines and encourage independence.
• Monitor changes in mood, behavior, and overall well-being.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage clients in activities that support memory, comfort, and quality of life.
