Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking friendly Janitors and Custodians to clean common areas and bathrooms in residential and commercial properties in Boston, MA. The role offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm) with an hourly pay rate of $19, aiming to keep tenants, guests, and vendors in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, sanitizing fixtures, trash removal, and assisting management with additional tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience with cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types as well.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
• Assisting building management with all projects and all other duties as requested.
