Job summary

Eurest in Maplewood, MN is hiring for a full-time Cook position. The role focuses on preparing high-quality meals in line with standardized recipes, ensuring proper portions, temperatures, and presentation for daily service.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm with no nights or weekends and full benefits after 90 days. Culinary degree is preferred and scratch cooking experience is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of scratch cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining required temperatures and presentation.
• Keeps records of area worked during service and adheres to established ticket procedures and HACCP standards.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and stores/discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies and supports production planning and reporting.
