Job summary

Schnuck Markets, Inc. is hiring for a customer service role. The position requires friendly, attentive service to shoppers and reliability in attendance. Employees will bag items, load purchases into carts, and assist customers to their vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Availability Monday–Sunday 9am–5pm.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outside in seasonal weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers’ purchases into bags.
• Place filled bags in cart.
• Carry customers purchase to cars.
• Retrieve carts from parking lot.
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts.
• Stock bags on check stands.
• Empty trash from check stands and service center.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Verify prices of merchandise.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management.
