Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a customer service teammate to provide friendly service, bag purchases, and assist customers in-store. The role requires regular attendance and the ability to perform stocking and light janitorial tasks.

Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing carts, and standing for shifts of 4–8 hours. Internal candidates preferred with six months to a year of service. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers’ purchases into bags.
• Place filled bags in cart.
• Carry customers purchase to cars.
• Retrieve carts from parking lot.
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts.
• Stock bags on check stands.
• Empty trash from check stands and service center.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Verify prices of merchandise.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management.
