Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life within the safety of their home by providing one-on-one care? Are you warm, supportive, and experienced in caring for seniors or adults? Right at Home is hiring caregivers immediately to support clients in Lake and Porter counties, northwest Indiana. Our goal is to help clients stay independent at home and avoid high-risk nursing facilities.

We are looking for caregivers interested in two or more Daytime/Overnight shifts in Michigan City, IN, preferably those willing to work 12-hour shifts 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship: engaging in conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders
• Personal Care: assisting with meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, exercises, grooming
• Charting and Reporting: communicating concerns and changes to the care team to ensure well-being and peace of mind for loved ones

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience caring for seniors or adults
• Warmth and compassion
• Effective communication and task performance
• Background check, BMV check, TB test, drug screening
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation

Preferred but not required:

• Certifications such as CNA, HHA, DSP; pay is commensurate with certifications and experience
