Job summary

College of Southern Maryland seeks passionate adjunct faculty to contribute to its Early College program. In this role, you will teach face-to-face classes from 8:15 am to 2:00 pm, two to four days a week, at CSM campuses in southern Maryland.

Responsibilities include instruction, attendance management, and timely communication with coordinators. The candidate should hold a master’s degree in the discipline and demonstrate enthusiasm for student learning, with experience in diverse teaching

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the discipline of instruction or a related field.
• Master's with 15 credit hours in the discipline or substantial field experience as approved by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and teach courses in day/evening/weekend offerings at campus or other assigned locations.
• Engage students using a variety of teaching methods and technology, and monitor progress with timely feedback.
