Awesome Fabrication Shop in Broken Arrow is seeking Welders for Day Shift 5am to 3pm Mon-Fri 50 hour work weeks

The Layout Welder / fitter will work in the fabrication of ASME certified spiral heat exchangers fabricated from carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, nickel alloys, and titanium. Using prints and other documents, they will layout, fit, and weld using GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW and SMAW processes. All work is ASME certified and stamped.

Duties
  • Perform fabrication, welding and fitting operations in accordance with ASME standards.
  • Must be able to perform x-ray quality open root weld joints in accordance with ASME pressure vessel code in carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, nickel alloys, and titanium materials.
  • Must be able to perform pressure vessel fitting operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, nickel alloys, and titanium heat exchangers.
  • Must be able to read prints, interpret weld symbols, read work instructions, and communicate in English.
  • Perform liquid penetrant and other non-destructive testing as required.
  • Responsible for performing quality checks and continuously inspecting materials and production to ensure product conformance.
  • Identify and communicate any non-conforming products per SOP or applicable process.
  • Accurately record data on quality documentation, components, and products per company standards and/or customer requirements.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma (GED) minimum, welding degree or certification.
  • At least 3 years of welding experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in pipe fitting or advanced training in fitting/welding.
