11CFAC is an inpatient step-down unit dedicated to providing specialized care for patients in need of surgical services from Vascular Surgery, ENT, and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Our unit offers a dynamic and supportive environment where collaboration and teamwork are central to our nursing culture. You will care for a wide range of complex cases, including amputations, bypasses, tracheostomies, DIEP flaps, and more. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and fostering professional growth.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient setting. This role requires competency in caring for an adult population. The job description aligns with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Experience:

Clinical competence and experience in managing target patient populations specific to this area.

Education:

Must have professional nursing knowledge from an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for RN licensure. Non-BSN nurses with less than one year of licensed RN experience must enroll in a BSN or higher degree program within 15 months of hire and complete it within 5 years (or 6 years for MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing). A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Licensure:

Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license via NLC. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
