Our community is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

  1. Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas (apartments, common areas, lounges, offices) according to schedule.
  2. Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and runners; rotate runners in hallways and entryways.
  3. Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatories, showers, sinks; stock dispensers as needed.
  4. Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills in bathrooms and other areas.
  5. Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean, organized manner.
  6. Collect trash and refuse from work areas and dispose of properly.
  7. Manage community laundry, ensuring cleanliness and proper operation.
  8. Store cleaning chemicals safely when not in use.
  9. Keep cords, carts, equipment, and hazards out of walkways, in compliance with fire codes.
  10. Report repairs and supply needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in the primary language of residents.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
  • Interest in working with seniors.
  • Courteous and friendly interaction with guests, residents, and staff.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit occasionally.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Visual acuity, including close and color vision.
