Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance in Bullard, TX is seeking a Daycare Worker for our After School program. This ministry-minded, part-time role focuses on fostering youth development by guiding elementary students in enrichment activities.

The position is non-exempt, averaging 17–20 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm during the school year. Ideal candidates are devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to their full potential, and should be willing to align

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and have a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with elementary school-aged children.
• Experience with elementary school-aged children preferred.
• Available Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Background/Sex offender check required.
• Valid driver’s license or valid ID.
• Spanish-speaking ability valued.
• Agree with Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.

Daycare Worker

We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to be on our After School team. The Daycare Worker's primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. We are looking for an Daycare Worker who is devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential! You have the chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community. A Daycare Worker is non-exempt, part-time position that average 17-20 hours per week.

At Mentoring Alliance After School, we hire teachers, youth workers, teen workers, college students, mentors and more to serve and develop kids in our programs. As a Christian ministry we are geared toward serving kids and students in our community by offering awesome after school care and activities.

Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, to provide tangible help and eternal hope. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United StatesHave dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
