Job summary

The Learning Experience #144 is hiring Lead Teachers for our Toddler Classroom in Sacramento, CA. The role requires coaching co-teachers, managing a safe and engaging environment, and delivering the proprietary LEAP Curriculum across Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool ages.

Qualified candidates typically have 1+ years of teaching experience, a High School diploma with 12 ECE credits (associates or higher preferred), and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED + 12 ECE College credits required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, with infants, toddlers, preschoolers as appropriate.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents via apps and discussions.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement with staff and leadership.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a positive learning culture.
