Daycare/Childcare experience is required. We are hiring for classroom teaching in a learning environment for all age groups.

Kiddie Academy is a childcare facility in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Our curriculum is focused on education-based childcare and our teachers excel in caring, nurturing, and teaching children in our eleven age-appropriate classrooms from infants, school age to before and after school care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly professional and dependable.
• Applicant must have an associates or a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a Human Services related field or a minimum of 15 credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of 2 years documented experience working with young children.
• NSOR clearance.
• Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus.

Essential Functions

• Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings, as requested.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities.
• Counsels children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise.
• Implements classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
• Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up.
• Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children.

• 8 hour shift.
• Monday to Friday.

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay.

• Wexford, PA 15090: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Required).
• Childcare: 1 year (Required).

License/Certification:

• Health Assessment.
• NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) (Required).
• CPR Certification (Required).
