Somerset Community Action Program in Franklin Township, NJ, is looking for a compassionate Daycare Teacher to provide a safe, engaging environment for young children. You will plan age-appropriate activities, maintain a clean classroom, and communicate with families.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma with CDA or 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education (Associate/Bach preferred), CPR/First Aid, and prior daycare experience.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma with CDA or 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in daycare or preschool setting.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
