Qualifications

THE POSITION:

As a member of our Direct Care Staff, you will:

  • Assist with daily childcare tasks and complex medical care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
  • Provide structured, age-appropriate play and therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor and record patient data, vital signs, and responses to care.
  • Help with transporting children to and from the center, ensuring their safety during travel.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment for children.
  • Support social events, play activities, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited vocational school for EMT, Paramedic, CNA, or Graduate Nurse.(Preferred)
  • Valid certification as an EMT, Paramedic, CNA, or Practical Nurse.
  • Registered with the CNA or DSW Registry in good standing.
  • At least one year of experience caring for infants, children, or medically fragile children.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 18 years of age or older.
