Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development, or an accepted equivalent qualification under applicable California licensing requirements.
• Relevant classroom experience meeting California's teacher qualification requirements.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood development.
• Ability to meet applicable California childcare licensing, background clearance, and health and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One or more years of professional early childhood teaching experience.
• Previous experience working with toddlers or two-year-olds.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience mentoring or leading classroom staff.
