Responsibilities:
Employ a variety of educational techniques (singing, storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach infants and young toddlers. Have FUN!
Observe and interact with infants and young toddlers to help create a safe and nurturing environment. Have Fun!
Ensure the health and safety of infants and young toddlers which includes feeding, diapering, and utilizing safe sleep practices. Have Fun!
Guide infants and young toddlers in their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.) Have Fun!
Organize feeding hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
Track children’s progress and report to Administration
Communicate with parents regularly to understand infant background and psyche to assist with meeting developmental goals.
Collaborate with other educators.
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
2-3 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
