Position SummaryThe Daycare Center Director serves as the operational and cultural leader of one of the organization’s top-performing centers. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional quality in education, care, compliance, staff performance, and family experience. As a model location, this center will often serve as atraining site, apilot program location, and ashowcase for brand standards. The Director must be an inspiring leader, a savvy operator, and a passionate advocate for children, families, and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture- Cultivate a high-performing, positive, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Coach and mentor staff to ensure alignment with brand values and expectations.
- Serve as a leader and model for best practices in early childhood education.
Operations & Compliance- Oversee all daily operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment that reflects flagship status.
- Monitor and manage center budget, payroll, and financial performance.
Staff Development- Hire, train, and retain top-tier talent.
- Conduct regular observations, coaching sessions, and professional development meetings.
- Drive performance through accountability, feedback, and recognition.
Curriculum & Program Quality- Ensure consistent, high-quality curriculum implementation.
- Partner with teachers to deliver developmentally appropriate and engaging learning experiences.
- Monitor classroom environments, documentation, and assessments.
Family & Community Engagement- Build strong, trusting relationships with families.
- Proactively communicate with families regarding child development and center news.
- Represent the center in community events and brand initiatives.
Strategic Initiatives- Pilot new programs, technologies, or operational practices as assigned.
- Provide feedback to the corporate or franchise team on innovations or improvements.
- Support visits from franchisees, brand partners, and prospective owners.
