Loffredo Fresh Foods is hiring a Full Time Day Warehouse Selector in Norwalk, IA. The role involves picking and loading customer orders, navigating a refrigerated warehouse, and using forklift and pallet jack equipment to build pallets.

Safety and accuracy are emphasized as you work with inbound and outbound freight. Compensation starts at $18 per hour with a schedule from 4am to 1pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for the automated headset.
• Able to take direction from all levels of management and work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY FIRST. Safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow safety guidelines.
• Receive/Unload inbound freight and put away.
• Accurately select and pack orders for shipment, both internally and externally.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform all other assigned duties.

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Full Time Day Warehouse Selector based out of our Norwalk Branch.We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. As a Day Warehouse Selector, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring that all customer orders are accurately picked and loaded on trucks to be shipped internally and externally. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, receive/unload inbound freight, and use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to build pallets. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help maintain the high standards of service our customers expect.

Pay: $18

Schedule:

• 4am to 1:00 PM OT as a need it
• Working: Monday - Friday
