Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse clerk to create purchase orders, reconcile and code expenses, and assist with slotting new items. The role includes pre-receiving PO’s, scanning OS&D paperwork, and coordinating carrier charges and RTV on returned products.

There is also involvement in pallet trailer pickups and dry ice deliveries. A high school diploma or GED is required, with about a year of warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-year prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Physical Demands

• Employee must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and squat throughout an eight-hour shift. (plus overtime)
• Occasionally tear down a pallet which includes lifting cases and objects from and to heights ranging from floor to knee, waist, shoulder, and overhead ranging in weight from 10 to 75 pounds.
• Uses hand to finger dexterity to peel and stick labels, handle or feel objects and or equipment controls, or reach with hands and arm.
