Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking Warehouse Associates to support pre-picking, pallet placement, and teamwork-driven success. You will participate in shipping, receiving, put-away, replenishment, and loading activities, while upholding safety and productivity standards in a mostly indoor environment.

The role requires the ability to read orders, rotate stock, and work with the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to shipping, receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, loading, rotation, check-in, repacking and security of products.
• Rotate products during receiving, replenishment, picking, repacking and returns per company standards.
• Participate in pre-picking and merchandising of products as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive, cooperative relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards established by management.
• Read order sheets accurately and work with Warehouse Supervisor to meet productivity standards.

Job description

Warehouse Associates play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. They are responsible for pre-picking the beverage orders and placing the correct pallets on the trucks. Working as a team is a critical part of this position's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all duties related to shipping, receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, loading, rotation, check-in, repacking and security of products
• Rotate all products during receiving, replenishment, picking, repacking and returns activities according to Company standards
• Participate in pre-picking and merchandising of products as needed
• Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your job
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards established by management
• Read order sheet accurately
• Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure productivity standards are acceptable
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.

• Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
