Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is hiring a Street Sweeper in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will own routes, operate a street sweeper, and help keep streets clean and safe.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1 year DOT driving experience (waste/recycling preferred), a valid driver’s license, and a DOT medical card. 1st shift, on-site with minimal travel, supportive safety culture.

Your daily impact:

As our next Street Sweeper, you'llbe at the heart of our mission—delivering essential services that help improve public safetyandenhance environmental quality. In this role,you’lltake ownership of assigned routes,drive the street sweeper,andoperatespecializedequipment tokeep streets cleanand well-maintained.

• Route Execution: Review routes in advance, ask clarifying questions as needed, and complete assigned work on time with attention to quality.
• Safety & Inspections: Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational before starting work.
• Equipment & Material Handling: Operate equipment safely and efficiently, follow traffic laws and site protocols, and handle materials according to disposal and safety procedures.
• Reporting & Documentation: Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
• Professional Communication: Represent the Company professionally and communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
• Adaptability & Reliability: Respond effectively to changing conditions, solve problems as they arise, and maintain regular, predictable attendance.

• Education: High School or GED
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services experience preferred
• License: Driver's Licence & DOT Medical Card
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age
• Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
