Job Title: Day Stocker at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Stock all merchandise in its proper location according to shelf allocation established by management.
2. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
3. Replace misplaced items to the proper location.
4. Unload trucks.
5. Sweep and mop all areas of the store.
6. Check the shelf labels of each item to ensure pricing accuracy.
7. Keep the stockroom area neat and clean.
8. Properly remove and dispose of all trash.
9. Rotate all merchandise when stocking to ensure freshness and quality.
10. Clean and straighten shelves.
11. Responsible for hanging shelf tags.
12. Stack product in the stockroom.
13. Bale all boxes.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Stocking experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Constant contact with various individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend scheduled shifts and adhere to company policies.
