Job Opening: Home Care Aide – must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNA

Branch: Watertown, NY

Job Location(s): Lowville NY and surrounding towns in Lewis County

Rate: $18.10 / hour

Available Shifts: Daytime shifts, up to 8 hours/day, seeing 2-4 clients per shift, depending on shift length. Travel time between clients is paid. Flexible scheduling – we will work with your availability!

• If you have at least 3 months of recent hands-on caregiving experience, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.

Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license required! Running errands/shopping for clients is part of the job (mileage paid).

Job Duties

Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and ensuring they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.

• Must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Nursing students may be able to work as HHA’s – ask us how!
• If you have at least 3 months of recent hands-on caregiving experience, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!
• Must be caring, dependable, and meet health requirements
• Must be 18 or older
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
