Job summary

Nortekhvac in North Carolina is seeking a Distribution Representative to locate stock, fill orders, verify descriptions and quantities, and prepare items for shipment.

This role requires using handheld scanners and computers to update inventory and order status, lifting up to heights, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Schedule is 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Thursday; competitive benefits and a $500 retention bonus are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Acute detail and accuracy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, both internally and externally.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail on many, varied tasks.
• Ability to obtain Rheem lift truck license.
• Ability to work at heights (Up to 35ft).

Job description

The Distribution Representative is responsible for packing, assembling, processing orders, operating machinery and other functions as needed. Working internally with customer service representatives and peers to meet client needs. The successful candidate will also verify and keep records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.

Schedule: 6:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Thursday

Pay: $17.50-19.50/hr. Starting rate is dependent on experience.
