LGG INDUSTRIAL, a national distributor of hoses, gaskets, and conveyor products, seeks a Warehouse Specialist in Erie, PA. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on reliable warehouse operations to meet customer expectations and drive facility goals.

You will manage receipts, put-aways, picking, packing, and shipping, while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. Applicants must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and be available for overtime, nights, and weekends.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment.
• 2-4 years of related warehousing or production experience.
• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about how our products are produced on equipment.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)

Responsabilidades

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and notify the supervisor.
• Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for pick up, delivery or shipping.
• Package and ship through UPS, Fed Ex, and LTL Motor Freight.
• Assist with staging local shipments for VMI delivery and Hot Shots.
• Handles customer pickups.
• Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
• Assists with physical inventory.
• Properly label and store received goods for future identification and retrieval.
• Maintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Properly keep designated stocking locations stocked as required.
• Pull stock for all "Pick- Pack-Ship" orders for daily customers.
• Provide correct parts and materials for daily production orders.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified for
