Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Warehouse Specialist / Shipping Clerk based in North Kansas City (Lee's Summit), MO. This day-shift role runs 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule, with the responsibility to operate a forklift and manage shipping/receiving tasks.

Weekly pay starts at $24.20 per hour, with benefits effective on day one including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) match. Primary duties include coordinating orders, directing trucks, handling paperwork, and maintaining

• Must be able to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining service quality.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce safety, quality GMP, and company policies.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to generate daily shipment orders.
• Direct and load outgoing trucks per schedule and manage paperwork.
• Direct, unload, and store incoming materials and deliveries.
• Operate forklift equipment with safe practices.
• Maintain accurate plant receiving records and inventory controls.
• Enter purchase orders and track until delivery in systems.
• Prepare and process bills of lading and related documentation.
• Ensure shipments are on time and properly documented.
