Job summary

FreshPoint is hiring a Sanitation Day Associate to perform custodial duties throughout the warehouse, including cleaning, mopping, and maintaining sanitary conditions. The role requires following safety procedures and supporting recycling and stretch-wrap tasks as needed.

Qualifications include 1 year of warehouse-related experience or training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. The position is full-time and on-site at our Florida facility.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or sanitation experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties.
• English-speaking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties throughout the facility, including dusting, sweeping, washing, wiping, scrubbing, shoveling, and mopping.
• Maintain sanitary conditions by disposing of trash and debris daily and cleaning spills.
• Clean coolers, dry warehouse floors, aisles, and equipment mezzanine; perform slot cleaning.
• Scrub floors in aisles, cooler areas, and docks; preserve floor care with power equipment.
• Inspect and maintain parking lots, front sidewalks, and general appearance.
• Complete daily sanitation logs to document sanitation activities.
• Assist with stretch wrap and cardboard recycling tasks, including moving materials to balers and tying bales.
