Job summary

Dexter is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping in a fast-paced distribution setting. You will use RF/RFI gun, maintain accurate records in WMS, and ensure safety and compliance while supporting a team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, familiarity with WMS, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role offers day shifts, minimal weekend work, and a path for growth within Dexter.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Order Processing: Use RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement; pick, pack, and stage orders; perform cycle counts and audits; ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Receiving & Shipping: Unload, inspect, verify incoming goods; prepare outgoing shipments; maintain records in WMS.
• Material Handling: Operate pallet jacks or carts; organize stock; replenish pick locations.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA rules; report issues; keep workspace clean.
• Work Environment: Fast-paced distribution setting with physical activity; overtime/weekend work possible.
