Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking an Order Processor for a Monday–Friday shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The role focuses on accurate order picking, material handling, and compliance with safety rules on the distribution floor.

Responsibilities include counting items, inspecting shipments, and using the warehouse management system to process orders. Candidates must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English.
• Able to communicate and follow instructions both orally and in writing.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify items against orders.
• Inspect materials for quality and report issues.
• Assist with routing, counting and loading/unloading carts.
• Select and process orders accurately using the warehouse system.
• Ensure items are stored in safe areas and at proper heights.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Participate in housekeeping and inventory activities.
• Maintain production/performance standards.
