Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker in Macomb, MI. The role involves accurately selecting, packing, and staging orders, using pick tickets, handheld scanners, and WMS. You will lift up to 50 lbs, operate pallet jacks, and, when certified, forklifts, all while following SOPs and safety rules.

The position is fully onsite with a daytime schedule (7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), potential Saturday work, and a contract status.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment with packing and order picking responsibilities.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks to move and stage materials safely.
• Forklift operation (certified) when required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret pick tickets and SOs/WMS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently using pick tickets, handheld scanners, or WMS.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
• Prepare, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
• Replenish picking areas and maintain stock levels to support fulfillment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks when certified.
• Lift and move products up to 50 lbs as part of picking/packing.
• Perform repetitive movements and maintain accuracy throughout shift.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Communicate shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to supervisors.
