Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Material Handler for the day shift (6a-6p). You’ll load, unload, and move product by hand or on carts and pallets, following safety guidelines.

The role involves counting inventory, labeling, and picking daily orders from printed lists without forklift use. The position is full-time with rotating shift teams (A/B 6a-6p; C/D 6p-6a) and weekends/holidays rotation.

Qualifications

• Entry level, no experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.
• Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and record quantities for inventory transactions.
• Identify materials moved and match descriptions on documentation.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging integrity for safe transport.
• Locate, label and pick required materials from printed pick lists.
