Job summary

DSV is seeking a General Warehouse Associate (Material Handler, GWA Sr) in Winchester, VA. You will perform picking, labeling, moving and inspecting products, and report any damages or discrepancies to leadership, while ensuring safe operation of equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of warehouse experience; current MHE certification is preferred. The role offers daytime hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in warehouse/logistics environment preferred.
• Current or prior MHE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picking: use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders and stage products per client requirements.
• Quality control: verify orders meet quality standards and report damages or discrepancies.
• Safety, housekeeping, and compliance: follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Equipment operation: operate pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintenance: assist in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Other duties: perform additional tasks and work overtime as required.
