Job summary

Custom Assembly, Inc. is seeking a Loader for the 1st shift in Alabama. You will safely operate forklift equipment and manually move materials to and from storage, load and unload trailers, and follow the Load Plan to ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.

The role includes staging units, securing loads with straps, and completing receiving reports. Benefits include PTO, holidays, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience.
• Forklift driving certification/experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift equipment and manually move materials to and from storage, and load and unload trailers.
• Read and Execute the Load Plan.
• Stage units and materials for counting and inspection; ensure shipping reports accurately report units and material shipped.
• Secure units with strapping to prevent unit damage or shifting in transit.
• Accurately complete receiving reports for units and material received.
