Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Day shift) at our Saint Charles facility to support pharmaceutical distribution through picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will learn and operate multiple warehouse functions and equipment to ensure timely delivery to customers.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for the shift, and occasional overtime. Training starts on day one with opportunities for skill development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required/preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willing to train and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders including picking, packing, and packing for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Wear steel-toed boots if required and work in varying temperatures.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Be trained and certified to operate material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.).
