Job summary

Do it Best Corp. in Corsicana, TX is seeking a Merchandise Handler to perform distribution tasks in a warehouse environment, including receiving, sorting, storing and moving product to support efficient flow of merchandise.

The role offers a starting hourly rate of $18.00 with a Monday–Friday schedule and start times from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, plus quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, disability coverage, Profit-Sharing Plan, paid time

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or similar field.
• Committed to safety processes and protocols.
• Ability to perform simple math to ensure count accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Able to meet productivity standards.
• Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to be trained and licensed to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from trailers and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Stack and load cartons for outbound shipment; stock shelves with received goods.
• Maintain and verify records of goods received or shipped.
• Operate material handling equipment safely; use pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Select and pick products for shipment from order requests; match inventory to orders.
• Prepare merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap or other devices.
• Use mobile RF devices to scan and track materials.
• Note: time per task may vary.
