Job summary

AKG in Hollywood, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments with accuracy and speed.

You will use handheld scanners, count stock, label and track shipments, and coordinate with Receiving, Inventory Control and Shipping to hit daily quotas.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and reliable attendance; the company offers a comprehensive benefits package and day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Familiarity with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack our orders daily; accurately pick customer sales orders using handheld scanning devices, meeting daily performance quotas.
• Label, pack, and ship orders securely and correctly, ensuring all shipments meet company standards for accuracy and presentation.
• Document and communicate key shipment details, including serial numbers, tracking updates, and changes to shipping addresses, when applicable
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Comply with all safety policies and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work cooperatively with the fulfillment team to meet quotas and goals
• Collaborate with Receiving, Inventory Control, Fulfillment, Shipping, and Operations teams to achieve daily objectives.
• Support cross-functional warehouse activities during peak periods or staffing needs.
• Communicate operational issues, inventory concerns, and process opportunities to supervisors.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
