Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Cargo Handler to load and unload freight, accurately stage and audit next day routes, and perform various warehouse tasks. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and communication skills, and experience with RF scanners or data entry systems. Forklift certification is required, with occasional weekend or event scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, post high school education a plus.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without calculator.
• Basic written and communication skills along with strong customer service skills.
• Previous experience with RF scanners and computer data entry systems for tracking inventory preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Ability to verify documentation and condition of freight and label boxes for shipment.
• Must stage and audit next day routes and move freight within the warehouse.
• Must check-in and unload appliances from carriers.
• Schedule flexibility: weekends, overtime, and events as needed.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Must be forklift certified.
