Job summary

Ferguson Appleton is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to pull and prepare orders, operate a stand-up forklift, and use RF devices to sort and scan items. You will receive, verify, stage, and stock material while keeping the facility clean and safe.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with a focus on accuracy and efficient teamwork. The role supports a busy warehouse environment with a strong emphasis on safety, weight handling up to 50 lbs, and adherence to PPE

Qualifications

• 1–3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean and safe, and follow PPE regulations.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage and weight limits of 400 lbs.
