Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving in a fast-paced distribution environment in Sacramento, CA. You will perform forklift tasks, pallet handling, and palletized material movement while maintaining safety and accuracy throughout shifts.

The role requires at least 6 months of warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and the flexibility to work early hours and overtime. Benefits and a strong team culture are highlighted in the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, and pallet handling.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas and reports unsafe conditions or acts.
• Conducts daily safety checks of forklift/pallet jack per policy.
• Performs damage checks on received items and escalates as needed.
• Replaces batteries and completes vehicle inspection per guidelines.
• Reviews production paperwork and prepares for operations.
• Wears required PPE and safety gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards as directed.
• Secures equipment and completes necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
