Job summary

PPG is hiring a Warehouse Associate at their Lima, OH Distribution Center. The role requires handling shipments, stocking, and order processing with RF scanners and Oracle WMS.

The position includes day shifts, potential overtime, and opportunities to contribute to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will support inventory accuracy, assist with audits, and perform light maintenance on equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years warehouse/manufacturing experience.
• Basic reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills to process orders and paperwork.
• Previous paint and/or hazardous materials experience is a plus.
• Good interpersonal, detail-oriented, basic computer and organizational skills.
• Repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Forklift and hand-jack experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trailers using hand or electric-powered equipment.
• Check shipments and store materials with proper stock rotation.
• Process all orders (pallet, small package) efficiently and accurately.
• Use computers, RF scanners and power equipment per distribution best practices.
• Prepare shipping documents and enter inputs into Oracle WMS.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, EPA, EEO, ISO and PPG policies and regs.
• Participate in inventory, cycle counts, and audits; assist replenishment and shortages identification.
• Attend safety meetings and other required meetings.
