Job description

Join our dedicated warehouse team at Gourmet Foods International as a Warehouse Associate, delivering delicious specialty foods to our customers. This fast-paced role involves receiving trucks full of orders, preparing them for delivery, loading conveyor belts, and staging deliveries for drivers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming inventory items.
2. Operating RF handheld devices to scan, pull, and pack items for orders.
3. Following prompts on screens and executing tasks accordingly.
4. Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets and packages.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, carry up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 30 lbs of force.
• Exposure to refrigerated environments ranging from 0 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to ascend and descend a 10-inch step from the floor.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and reach/bend as needed.

Preferred Experience:

• Warehouse or cold storage experience.
• Pallet jack operation or stand-up forklift certification.
