Simmons Pet Food in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Utilities Production - Day shift to support plant operations. The role fills in for breaks and absences while maintaining quality and safety in the production area.

You will operate all necessary equipment, record downtime and temperatures, and ensure sanitation standards are met. The position requires a high school diploma and basic math skills, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Fills in for breaks and absences while maintaining plant operations.
• Fully operate all necessary equipment in the assigned area.
• Record downtime, can loss, lot numbers, temperatures, and other reports.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to standard.
• Perform weekly sanitation.
• Participates as a Team member and supports BESt practices with the team.
• Follows Simmons operating systems and company policies.
• Performs other duties to support business objectives.
• Must work in a busy, noisy, dusty environment and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Wear PPE: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, earplugs, hair net.
