Job summary

Drexel University is hiring a Union Electrician / Multi-skilled Maintenance employee to support Facilities Management. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., working on a variety of electrical systems across campus.

The position requires a HS Diploma or GED, 3+ years of relevant experience with 120V-480V systems, and possession of a Philadelphia electrical contractor license or equivalent; a valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including proficiency with 120V-480V single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Philadelphia electrical contractor license or equivalent license; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment (sub-panels, wiring, circuit breakers, conduit).
• Replace fluorescent ballasts and tubes.
• Respond to service calls for campus-wide building maintenance in classrooms, restrooms, residence halls, athletic facilities, and outdoors.
