Job summary

Eliason Corporation's Salt Lake City, UT facility is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to read blueprints and weld structural tube and plate assemblies. The role requires precision and adherence to WPS and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of welding experience, MIG/FCAW skills, and, if available, AWS D1.1 certification. Day shift, M-Th, with good benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of welding certification program or equivalent hands-on welding experience (1–2 years preferred).
• AWS D1.1 certification is a plus.
• Experience with MIG (GMAW) and/or FCAW welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld structural tube assemblies per fabrication drawings and WPS requirements.
• Perform layout, cutting, grinding, and fitting operations to prepare materials.
• Verify dimensions and alignment using measuring tools, squares, and levels.
• Maintain high-quality welds in appearance, size, and penetration.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools.
