Job summary

Deshazo Crane Co in Bessemer, Alabama, is seeking a Structural Welder/Fabricator to lay out, fit, and weld frames of structural steel. Qualifications

• Must be able to lay out, fit, and weld frames made of structural steel.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience fitting using MIG and Flux-core welding.
• Must be able to read Engineer Drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up tools and equipment for welding jobs.
• Build welded assemblies for new and existing products.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Skills

MIG and Flux-Core welding experience

Ability to read blueprints

Basic math skills

Knowledge of materials and alloys

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Completion of a welding course or AWS certified
